Part-Time Cook – Wang Lee Restaurant

Location: Alberton, PE

Job Type: Part-time

Hours: Approximately 15–20 hours per week

Pay: $18 per hour

Start Date: As soon as possible

About the Position

Wang Lee Restaurant is looking for a reliable Part time Cook to join our team.

We’re looking for someone who is comfortable working in a busy kitchen, can stay organized during service, and works well with others. Most shifts are during evenings and weekends, so regular availability during these times is important.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant standards
- Complete food preparation and station setup before and during service
- Ensure food is prepared consistently and served in a timely manner
- Follow proper food handling, storage, and temperature-control procedures
- Keep work areas, equipment, and kitchen surfaces clean and organized
- Assist with restocking and organizing ingredients and supplies
- Follow food safety and sanitation requirements




- Support other team members as needed

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar food-service setting is preferred
- Comfortable working efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Reliable, organized, and able to work well with others
- Available for evening and weekend shifts
- A valid Food Handler Certificate is required
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada

What to Expect We work together and help each other out, especially during busy shifts. You should be comfortable keeping up with the pace of the kitchen while maintaining consistent food quality, cleanliness, and organization.
