JOB SUMMARY The position is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, directing and controlling the maintenance and installation activities of stores and other offices for the entire group (Ville St-Laurent GVN, Lunetterie New Look, Greiche & Scaff, Iris, Vogue Optical, etc.) in order to achieve their objectives and meet their needs and those of their customers.

If you're organized, methodical, collaborative, like to coordinate and communicate well, then you could be the senior maintenance and facilities coordinator we're looking for.

RESPONSIBILITY

- Directs and coordinates service calls and maintenance requests for stores and other offices to ensure timely receipt and follow-up, and management of related costs.





- Support his/her immediate superior in the management of the Ville St-Laurent building with respect to maintenance and repair requests, preventive maintenance, projects and general building management).

- Management and administration of security systems, cameras, alarms, etc.

- Maintain a database of call history, maintenance fees and suppliers, and perform comparative analysis to provide recommendations and/or solutions.

- Place calls and service requests with appropriate suppliers based on work requests received from stores and/or customersCoordinate and maintain service schedules and preventive maintenance with external suppliers and stores

- Report deficiencies and recommend improvement opportunities to management

- Support the team in special projects for stores and other offices

- Identify maintenance service requirements for new stores

- Coordinate maintenance activities to avoid delays or interruptions in stores and other offices, and to meet deadlines

- Participate in the opening or closing of new stores

- Create, maintain and monitor the annual maintenance budget for stores or other offices for all banners and control costs. Manage invoices from various suppliers to ensure compliance and issue payments.

- Comply with health and safety standards, i.e., building codes and OHS legislation in the various establishments.

- Carry out necessary activities in compliance with established policies, work procedures, norms and standards

- Perform all other related tasks as requested by immediate superior

QUALIFICATIONS

- Hold a college or university training in administration, or any other training and experience deemed equivalent.

- Training in building maintenance or any other training deemed equivalent, an asset

- Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in maintenance management

- Minimum 3 years' experience in maintenance retailing

- Good computer skills and proficiency in the Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

- Bilingualism (written and spoken French, written and spoken English)

- Available for occasional travel
