Crew Truck Labourer/ Skilled Labourer The Labourer is responsible for performing various tasks to support oil and gas operations, including assisting the Crew Truck Supervisor with the setup and maintenance of equipment / work sites and supporting crews in both the field and operational environments.

This role requires working in challenging outdoor conditions and adhering to strict safety protocols.

Must be willing to work long hours, shift work, irregular schedules and in a remote camp environment.

The Employee’s duties shall include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Lifting and carrying heavy items
- Guide drivers while backing up
- Perform Pre/Post-Trip Truck Inspections
- Run errands on location
- Help perform hands-on maintenance tasks like threading pipe, changing valves, bolting up flanges and repairing surface equipment.
- Responsible for keeping the crew truck, tools, work area and shop area clean and organized.
- Use hand and power tools
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all safety policies and regulations to ensure safe operation of equipment
- Wear and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including coveralls, hardhats, gloves, boots, and safety glasses.
- Prepare work areas by setting up barriers, signage, and clearing debris.
- Perform general labor tasks, including lifting, carrying, digging, trenching, and assembling/disassembling equipment.
- Assist with the unloading, loading, and transporting of materials to and from the job site.
- Maintain tools and equipment in clean and good working condition.
- Report damaged or unsafe tools and equipment immediately.
- Perform site cleanup including sweeping, removing debris, and collecting scrap materials.




- Report safety concerns or incidents immediately to supervisors or safety officers.
- Follow and Participate in the Resolve HSE program
- Monitor and report any unsafe conditions, incidents, or accidents promptly to supervisors.
- Maintain 100% Compliance Rating on WorkHub
- Maintain Valid First Aid, H2S and CSO Certificates
- Take direction from site leads or supervisors and provide support across all decom operations.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a strong safety culture and team environment.

Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, kneel, squat, bend, and drive for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.
- Capable of performing manual labor as part of unloading and securing equipment.

Working Conditions:
- Primarily field-based work, which may include working in remote locations, outdoors, or in challenging environmental conditions.
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and irregular hours based on project needs.
- May be required to travel to different job sites as needed.

Required Skills & Training:
- Must reside in Fort St. John
- Minimum 1 year experience in oil & gas work environments
- Required certifications: H2S Alive, First Aid and CSO. Additional certifications, such as AWP, Fall Arrest and Confined Space are considered an asset.
- Successful candidates will be required to successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol (D&A;) testing as a condition of employment.

Pay: $19.00-$32.00 per hour
