Crew Truck Supervisor The Crew Truck Supervisor is responsible for performing various tasks to support customers in the oil and gas industry. They must be able to operate a crew truck with a picker to load / secure and hoist materials in the field and supervise a small crew. This role manages daily oilfield maintenance or construction tasks, enforcing of safety rules and acts as the main link between the field crew and project managers.

The Employee’s duties shall include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Drive and operate a crew truck w/ picker (typically a 1-ton knuckle boom picker).
- Handle rigging / hoisting / loading and the safe transportation of tools / piping and equipment.
- Supervise field workers, delegate daily work tasks and direct team members during lifts or maintenance procedures
- Lead daily toolbox meetings and complete daily Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHA’s)
- Communicate work progress and safety performance with project manager and clients
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and equipment inspections, ensure tools and rigging gear are safe and report any mechanical issues
- Ability to calculate load charts
- Manage heavy rigging and support ground crew in cutting, rigging, and preparing components for removal.
- Support general Labour tasks as required and assist operators, technicians, and supervisors with tasks as directed.
- Prepare work areas by coordinating the placement of equipment and tools as needed.
- Inspect vehicles before and after use, ensuring they are in proper working condition, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and brake function.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all safety policies and regulations to ensure safe operation of equipment and safe transport of personnel.
- Maintain current certifications and training for operating crew vehicles,



pickers and any additional equipment used in the field.
- Monitor and report any unsafe conditions, incidents, or accidents promptly to supervisors
- Complete necessary documentation, including vehicle inspection logs, delivery receipts, and maintenance records
- Report any mechanical issues or concerns to maintenance teams for repair
- Wear and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including coveralls, hardhats, gloves, boots, and safety glasses.
- Maintain 100% Compliance Rating on Workhub
- Maintain Valid First Aid, H2S and CSO Certificates

Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, kneel, squat, bend, and drive for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.
- Capable of performing manual labor as part of unloading and securing equipment.

Working Conditions:
- Field-based work, which may include working in remote locations, outdoors, or in challenging environmental conditions.
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and irregular hours based on project needs.
- May be required to travel to different job sites as needed.

Experience/Certifications:
- Proven background in oilfield maintenance / construction / decommissioning
- Previous experience operating a picker/crew truck is considered an asset
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Required certifications: H2S Alive, First Aid and CSO. Class A or B picker ticket. Additional certifications, such as AWP, Fall Arrest and Confined Space are considered an asset.
- Successful candidates will be required to successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol (D&A;) testing as a condition of employment.

Pay: $34.00-$45.00 per hour
