We currently have an opportunity for an individual to join our Facilities team in Steinbach, MB as a Custodial Worker. You will work a dayshift schedule Monday to Friday, 5:30am-2:00pm, with overtime offered as needed to meet business demand. On-the-job training is provided in a friendly, team minded environment.

Capacity: You will understand the importance of time management and work ethic towards getting tasks completed and meeting sanitation requirements with high-quality standards.

You will be responsible for:

- Maintaining cleanliness in the lunchrooms, factory washrooms, bio-hazard cleanup, locker rooms and production offices
- Ensuring lunchroom is prepared for staff such as making coffee, stocking supplies, and following required hygiene protocols
- Operating a sweeper in the factory (multiple buildings)
- Helping with general spill cleanup in the factory and office
- Assisting with event setup and takedown




- Following all safe work procedures and standard operating procedures
- Required to wear a hardhat, safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection at all times and a respirator (which requires an employee to be clean shaven), when needed for specific jobs
- Other duties as assigned

Successful candidates will have:

- Previous custodial experience is an asset but not a requirement
- Capability to do various cleaning tasks such as mop floors, wipe tables, dust, clean toilets, wash windows, garbage removal, etc.
- Prior experience operating a scissor lift, or willingness to learn new equipment and safety procedures
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision
- A positive attitude, attention to detail and good organization skills
