DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITES

- Custodians are responsible for a full clean in every building on site, each night, this includes:

- 3 floors in the main building, two wood burning saunas, two electric saunas, two steam rooms including vestibule, three relaxation rooms, shower areas and stone rooms.

- Clean all onsite washrooms each night sanitizing and replenishing supplies.

- All floors must be swept and mopped (scrubbed) or vacuumed each night.

- Clean benches and chairs/loungers in all buildings including ledges.

- Sanitizing bean bags and seating areas.

- Clean all glass doors, windows and high touch surfaces

- Ensure all garbage, recycling and debris are removed from all areas putting them in appropriate containers

- Sweep and mop bistro and restaurant floors, cleaning window ledges.

- Cleaning stairwells and elevator

- Replenish supplies in massage floor, main floor and unisex hall restrooms, such as soap dispensers, toilet paper, towels, and all other amenities supplied.

- Ensure adequate cleaning supplies are always on hand and advise the supervisor if supplies are running low.

- Other duties as assigned.

Deep Clean

- Thoroughly clean and scrub steam rooms, saunas and relaxation rooms and other areas as assigned.





- Use carpet cleaner when required

- Pressure wash areas as required

- Clean underneath benches of saunas

- Remove water build up/calcium

- Pressure wash sidewalks (summer)

- Mineral oil on to sauna benches

- Other duties as assigned

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL

- Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and procedures.

- Previous cleaning at a spa or resort type environment an asset.

- Able to lift up to 50lbs on an ongoing basis.

- Ability to stand, walk and bend repetitively over an 8-hour period.

- Able to work outdoors with fluctuating weather conditions.

- Required to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

- Must have current or willing to obtain First Aid Certificate/CPR.

- CSA Safety Shoes required for the job
