Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Dairy Equipment Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair dairy equipment at customer farms. The ideal candidate enjoys working independently, solving technical problems, and providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair dairy equipment, including:
- Milking systems
- Milk cooling tanks
- Vacuum and wash systems
- Feed and water systems
- Automated dairy equipment
- Ventilation
- Stalls and penning
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.
- Respond to emergency service calls as required.
- Educate customers on proper equipment operation and maintenance.
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Maintain service vehicle inventory and company tools.
- Follow all company safety policies and biosecurity protocols.

Qualifications

- Experience with agricultural, dairy, industrial,



or mechanical equipment preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of plumbing and pneumatic systems is an asset.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and service manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in farm environments and various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding work.

- Agricultural equipment repair
- Refrigeration systems (asset)
- PLC or automation experience (asset)
