Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in dance education and a love for teaching students of all ages. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and inspiring students to develop their dance skills.

The Dance

Instructor will work closely with students, helping them to express themselves through movement while ensuring they learn the fundamentals of various dance styles.

Duties

- Educate students in various dance styles, including but not limited to ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs and skill levels of each student.
- Create a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their technique and performance.
- Organize and lead rehearsals for performances or showcases.
- Collaborate with other instructors to enhance the overall curriculum and student experience.




- Maintain classroom discipline while promoting respect and teamwork among students.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and any concerns.

Experience

- Previous experience as a dance instructor or in a similar educational role is preferred.
- A background in early childhood education or experience working with children is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with tutoring methods or classroom management techniques is beneficial.
- A passion for dance and the ability to inspire others through movement is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with students, parents, and fellow staff members.
