Job Title: Data Modeler – Payments Domain

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data modeling , including conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and the Azure Data Platform .
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database technologies.
- Experience designing data models for data warehouses, ETL/ELT pipelines, and analytics platforms .
- Strong understanding of data architecture, data governance, data quality, and database design principles .
- Experience with data modeling tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, or PowerDesigner .
- Experience working with payment processing, banking, financial services, or transaction data is highly preferred.
- Ability to translate business and payment-domain requirements into scalable and efficient data structures.
- Robust communication and stakeholder collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with business analysts, data engineers, architects, and technical teams.
