Analytics team operates on the frontlines of retail innovation. This multi-disciplinary team of data scientists, engineers, software developers, architects, and analysts designs, develops, and deploys high-impact, scalable measurement for AI/ML products and services that transform how Sobeys interacts with customers and operates businesses.

What Will You Do? As a Data Scientist Lead – Measurement and Experimentation at Sobeys, you will provide technical leadership for a portfolio of measurement solutions covering marketing, space productivity, and promotion planning use cases. You will lead a team of data scientists to build and manage statistical measurement ETLs for new AI/ML applications in a scalable cloud workplace using Databricks.

Additionally, you will own the development, implementation, and sustainment of measurement and experimentation methodologies including frequentist testing, Bayesian modeling, and Markov chain attribution across customer, product, and store levels.
