Duties

- Supervise and monitor children during play, learning activities, meals, and rest periods to ensure safety at all times
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Assist children with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, dressing, and hygiene practices
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and needs
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care




- Follow all licensing regulations and safety protocols to ensure compliance and a secure setting for everyone

Skills

- Proven classroom experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued
- Strong teaching abilities to facilitate learning through play-based methods
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
