Overview

We are looking for a caring, responsible, and reliable Daycare Driver / Child Care Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting children to and from our daycare and school, while creating a positive, friendly, and secure environment for the children.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, is a safe and responsible driver, and can communicate professionally with parents and daycare staff.

Responsibilities

- Safely transport children to and from the daycare, school, and approved activities.
- Follow all traffic laws and daycare safety procedures.
- Ensure children are safely seated and secured during transportation.
- Assist children safely when getting into and out of the vehicle.
- Supervise and monitor children throughout the transportation period.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized vehicle.
- Communicate with daycare staff and parents regarding schedules, transportation, and any concerns.
- Complete required transportation records and follow all daycare licensing and safety requirements.
- Report any vehicle or safety concerns immediately.




- Maintain a professional, patient, and caring attitude at all times.

Qualifications
- Valid driver's licence and a clean driving record.
- Safe and responsible driving habits.
- Previous experience working with children is an asset.
- Previous daycare, school, childcare, or caregiving experience is an asset.
- Ability to communicate respectfully and effectively with children, parents, and staff.
- Patient, caring, dependable, and responsible.
- Ability to handle children safely and appropriately during transportation.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Ability to meet all applicable childcare licensing and transportation requirements.
