- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and vans, to deliver freight across designated routes
- Load and unload cargo using equipment such as forklifts and heavy machinery, ensuring secure handling of goods
- Verify delivery orders, inspect freight for damage, and ensure accuracy of shipments before dispatch
- Maintain detailed records of deliveries, including logs of routes traveled, cargo details, and delivery confirmations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues encountered during routes




- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure optimal operation
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and traffic laws while operating vehicles and handling freight

Skills

- Proven experience with commercial driving and freight transportation
- Certification or experience in forklift operation for loading/unloading cargo efficiently
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation relevant to freight handling and warehouse logistics
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshoot vehicle issues independently
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and safety procedures
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items, operate machinery, and endure long periods on the road
