Context As part of the development of a new satellite program, our client is looking for a Delivery Manager to strengthen the management and oversight of several strategic suppliers based in the United States.

The satellite will be assembled in Europe, while several key components and subsystems will be developed and supplied by US-based partners.

As the program enters a critical phase, our client is strengthening its presence with US suppliers to improve visibility on their progress, commitments, risks, technical issues, and deliverable quality.

You will act as the operational link between the European teams and US suppliers, with responsibilities covering Delivery, Supplier Management, technical coordination, and quality follow-up.

The scope includes approximately six suppliers located across California, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Virginia.

This position requires significant mobility across the United States, with frequent travel to the different supplier sites. Depending on program priorities, you may, for example, spend one week in California followed by one week in Virginia, before travelling to another supplier location.

Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operational relationship with suppliers and monitor their commitments.
- Track schedules, milestones, deliverables, open actions, and potential delays.
- Identify deviations and implement action and recovery plans with suppliers.




- Provide clear and regular visibility on supplier progress to the European teams.
- Coordinate activities between suppliers and Engineering, Procurement, Quality, AIT, and Program Management teams.
- Participate in supplier meetings, design reviews, and delivery reviews.
- Monitor development, manufacturing, integration, testing, and qualification activities.
- Ensure compliance with technical, contractual, and quality requirements.
- Follow up on non-conformities, discrepancies, deviations, and corrective actions.
- Identify and assess supplier risks and their potential impact on the program.
- Participate in supplier audits, inspections, and technical reviews.
- Verify the compliance and completeness of supplier deliverables and documentation.
- Challenge suppliers regarding their performance, commitments, and action plans.
- Act as the on-site representative of the European teams, providing an independent view of the actual situation at supplier sites.

Profile

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Space, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the space, aerospace, defense, or another complex industrial environment.
- Experience in Delivery Management, Supplier Management, Program Management, or technical project management.




- Proven experience managing and monitoring suppliers.
- Strong understanding of scheduling, quality, risk management, and supplier performance.
- Experience with non-conformities, technical discrepancies, and corrective actions.
- Experience with supplier audits, inspections, or reviews.
- Ability to understand technical issues and effectively challenge suppliers.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
- Strong autonomy and ability to represent the client directly with external partners.
- Fluent English is mandatory.
- Significant mobility across the United States is mandatory.

Nice to Have

- Experience in the space industry or on satellite programs.
- Knowledge of ECSS, NASA, MIL-STD, AS9100, or ISO 9001 standards.
- Experience in Supplier Quality or Product Assurance.
- Knowledge of NCR, CAPA, 8D, and FMEA processes.
- Experience with electronic equipment, PCBA, avionics, or embedded systems.
- Familiarity with PDR, CDR, TRR, MRR, and DRB reviews.
- Experience working in an international environment involving European and US teams.
