Overview
Join our agile dental team as a Level 2 Dental Assistant and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care! This energetic position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced dentists, assist in a variety of dental procedures, and ensure a smooth, efficient clinic operation. As a Dental Assistant Level 2, you will leverage your advanced skills to support complex treatments, manage patient interactions, and contribute to a welcoming environment that promotes oral health and confidence.

Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools and protocols
- Assist dentists during procedures such as Root canal treatments, restorations, extractions, orthodontics, and pediatrics treatments
- Manage patient records efficiently using dental software platforms like TRACKER ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout visits
- Support orthodontic treatments by taking impressions, fitting appliances, ITero Scans, pouring impressions and adjusting braces as needed
- Handle administrative tasks including scheduling appointments,
updating patient information, and coordinating with the dental receptionist team
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to infection control standards and safety regulations
Experience
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant Level 2 or similar role in a busy dental practice
- Strong knowledge of dental assisting techniques with familiarity in Endodontics, orthodontics and pediatrics procedures
- Proficiency in dental management software such as TRACKER for scheduling, documentation, and billing
- Experience with CAD technology for designing or assisting with digital impressions is highly desirable
- Ability to communicate effectively using medical terminology and provide compassionate patient support
- Prior exposure to orthodontic appliances and pediatric dentistry enhances your ability to excel in this role
- Certification in dental assisting or related fields is required; additional training in medical terminology is advantageous
