Belmont Glasgow Dental Centre is an innovative dental practice located in Kitchener. We are looking for a full time Dental Front Desk Assistant to join our team in ensuring patient satisfaction with their teeth!

A dental receptionist is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of a dental office by performing administrative and clerical duties.

What are your responsibilities?

- schedule appointments for patients and ensure that the dentist's schedule is optimized.
- answer phone calls and provide information to patients, such as directions to the office or answers to common questions.
- maintaining patient records, including updating patient information, verifying insurance coverage, and ensuring that all necessary forms are completed.
- responsible for processing insurance claims and billing patients for services rendered.




- ensuring that the waiting room is clean and organized, and that patients are seen in a timely manner.
- communicating with the clinical team to ensure that patient care is coordinated and efficient.

Qualifications

- Experience working an administrative role of at least 1 year
- Level of proficiency in dental management software - preferably open dental
- Proficiency in excel and word
- Understanding or preliminary knowledge of dental terminology would be preferred

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
