Toronto Dermatology Centre is recruiting for a full time Dermatology Nurse, RN to join our growing team.

We are seeking an experienced and client focused professional with a great attitude who has a passion for medical dermatology. The candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team. They must be highly organized and have the ability to multi-task in their duties.

Our preferred candidate would be someone who has experience working in a dermatology clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

- Procedures: under supervision of dermatologists/delegated acts - treatment of warts, mollusca, alopecia areata & other skin conditions determined by the dermatologists; suture removals; sclerotherapy, botox for hyperhidrosis, etc.
- Assistance with surgical & cosmetic procedures
- Patient communication: answering clinical questions in clinic, by phone & email, following up on results, etc. Perform patient call-backs on daily basis




- Educate patients on post-procedure care as necessary
- Coordinate with other clinic staff to ensure exceptional delivery of service
- Documentation using our EMR
- Maintain clean, safe and well stocked exam room
- Sterilize surgical instrument
- Follow up phone calls with patients regarding care
- Contact patients with their lab results

The Requirements:

- Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- 2-3 years nursing experience
- Current CPR/BCLS certification
- Nursing experience in a dermatology office environment is an asset, but not needed (training will be provided)
- Superior interpersonal skills with staff and patients
- Attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solid time management and organizational skills
- Flexibility and multi-tasking are an asset
- Perform procedures such as cryotherapy, skin biopsies, skin tag/lesion removal, electrocautery and specimen collection (training will be provided)

We offer competitive rates and industry incentives. Schedule: Monday-Friday, with an occasional Saturday

Pay: $32.00-$35.00 per hour
