Job Summary

Design Specialist

General Overview: Primary responsibility is the design, and sales of cabinetry and countertops, as well as the management of clients and order after sale is made. Work as a team and individually to design, quote, sell and process orders. The sales rep will utilize KCB leads, and prospect to bring leads into KCB. An effective salesperson will not rely 100% on company provided leads. The DSR must always conduct themselves in a highly professional manner in every regard.

Valuable Final Product: This position done properly, achieving all responsibilities defined herein will add to the growth of the company, and in shared revenues. Following high ethical standards of KCB, the Design Specialist will sell quality cabinets and countertops to their clients ensuring they finish on time, on budget, and are happy at the end. This will ensure future success for KCB as well as yourself.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in Cabinetry design with a strong portfolio demonstrating cabinetry or furniture-related work.
- Proficiency in 2020/ Design Flex and SketchUp.
- Familiarity with AI intergrations
- Familiarity with Construction Drawings and measurements
- Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams. Compensation This position is compensated on an hourly wage plus commission structure. The hourly wage provides a consistent base of compensation, with additional commission opportunities based on cabinetry sales and performance.

Commission earnings are tied to established company targets and guidelines and are intended to reward robust sales performance, customer service, and contribution to the overall success of the cabinetry department.

Compensation details, including the applicable hourly rate and commission structure, will be reviewed with the successful candidate upon hiring.

Pay: $50,934.74-$140,493.27 per year
