The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Designer & Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will guide clients through the entire design and sales process from initial consultation to final installation by creating custom cabinetry solutions that exceed expectations while achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Client Consultation

- Conduct in-depth consultations with retail clients, renovators and custom home builders to understand their vision, requirements, and budget
- Create functional and aesthetically compelling kitchen, bathroom, and cabinetry designs using Cabinet Vision software
- Prepare detailed layouts, elevation drawings, and 3D renderings that consider flow, storage, workspace, and design aesthetics
- Guide clients through material selection, including door styles, finishes, hardware, and countertop options
- Conduct accurate site measurements and verify plumbing, electrical, and structural considerations

Sales & Business Development
- Meet or exceed individual sales targets through proactive prospecting, showroom walk-ins, and web leads
- Prepare accurate quotations and effectively present proposals to close sales




- Build and maintain a strong referral network among contractors, renovators, interior designers, and custom home builders
- Follow up diligently with prospects and maintain consistent communication throughout the sales cycle

Project Management
- Manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with client vision and company standards
- Coordinate with engineering, installation, and service teams to ensure accurate ordering and seamless execution
- Maintain client relationships throughout the design and installation process to ensure an outstanding customer experience
- Verify order accuracy prior to processing, ensuring cabinet dimensions align with site conditions and construction plans

Qualifications

Required

- Minimum 3 years of experience designing and selling custom kitchens, vanities, and/or residential cabinetry
- College diploma or university degree in Interior Design, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Proven sales track record with demonstrated ability to meet targets and close deals
- Proficiency in kitchen design software (i.e., Cabinet Vision, 2020Design, or similar)
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and blueprints
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Self-starter who is results-oriented and can work independently
- Valid driver's license with access to a reliable vehicle for site visits

Preferred




- 5+ years of experience in the custom cabinetry industry
- Established network of industry contacts (contractors, builders, interior designers)
- Knowledge of current design trends, materials, and cabinetry construction

What We Offer
- Competitive base salary (between $33,000 - $45,000 per year) with a commission structure offering significant earning potential totalling between $60,000 - $100,000+ per year

Work Schedule
- The working schedule will be 5 days a week, with staggered start and end times per day
- Rotating, pre-scheduled Saturdays are assigned, and the preceding weekday is scheduled as an “off” day
- To keep up with customer demands and timelines, there may be a need to work extended hours if work cannot be completed in scheduled working hours

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $36,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
