Job Summary
Under the general direction of the Lead Hand and responsible to the Environmental Services Manager the Dietary Aide is responsible for providing meal preparation and delivery in a manner consistent with all regulations as specified by the Long-Term Care Homes Act and related acts.
Requirements
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
- Safe Food Handler’s certification from local health unit or willingness to obtain prior to start date.
- Food Service Worker Program or willingness to obtain within 3 years of hire as outlined in the Training Requirements for Dietary Staff policy.
- Previous food-handling experience is an asset.
