PAL Distributors Inc. Winnipeg is seeking Team Members to add to it’s ever expanding Digital Label Printing Department. Our press department is fully digital with new high resolution, high speed label presses.

We are looking for a Digital Label press and Semi Rotary Die Cutter operator.

All equipment runs on Windows based and Unix operating system, strong computer skills are essential for success in this roll.

Duties

· Operating 7 color narrow web digital press, operating a semi rotary label die cutter finisher.

· Understanding of work order specification to determine press settings and determine materials. and dies that are needed to complete order to meet high customer expectations.

· Final inspection and rewind, and pack finished rolls for shipping.

· Equipment maintenance, trouble shooting to diagnose and repair.

· Maintaining label stock inventory and inks.

· Keeping a safe and clean working environment.

· Some heavy lifting is required.

· Other duties may be assigned.

Experience:



Background in Digital printing or Flexographic printing and/or operating label rewind finishing equipment would be an asset but not necessary. Willing to train the correct candidate.

· Strong trouble shooting skills

· Standing for extended periods of time

· Pre-press experience In Return;
