About The Opportunity We have the privilege of working with a member of the labour movement to assist them in sourcing a short term leadership position. This role offers a wide variety of duties with oversight of I.T., Human Resources and Finance.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Manage the day-to-day operation and effectiveness of the organization
- Provide guidance to the leadership on issues within IT, HR and Finance
- Provides direction, advice, mentoring and coaching to team members
- Manages the Corporate Services function, including some procurement, security, banking and facilities
- Manages various projects, as required
About You The successful candidate will have the following:
- Post secondary education in Business Administration or related field
- Five plus years of relevant experience in Human Resources, Finance or general Operations
- Experience working within a unionized workplace
- Project Management experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Superior judgement and problem solving
- The ability to work well with peers as part of an executive support team
- Demonstrated ability to be discreet and handle confidential information
- Exceptional attention to detail
About the Job This is a full time/contract position, offering a competitive wage of between $45.0 to $60.00 per hour; a hybrid work arrangement (3 days/week on site) with a convenient work location with available parking.
