Title: Director, Strategic Enterprise Office The Director, Enterprise Strategic Relationship Office, enables the Bank’s economic growth agenda by orchestrating high-value strategic relationships and executive engagement across the enterprise. The role ensures a coordinated, insight-driven, and impactful approach to engaging the Bank’s most important clients and stakeholders, maximizing relationship value, strengthening market positioning, and driving commercial outcomes. The ideal candidate will be someone with demonstrably effective skills in relationship building, an understanding of the financial sector and government landscape, and experience in working in a cross-functional capacity with strong execution and organization skills.

Collaborates with internal teams (sales, marketing, product, leadership) to align on client priorities, growth strategies, and long-term partnership vision. Design and scale enterprise corporate access and client engagement programs that deliver measurable strategic and commercial outcomes. Identify emerging opportunities and risks across top client relationships, and identify and elevate reputational, relationship, or stakeholder risks tied to strategic clients or events.

Drive continuous improvement in event strategy, execution, and impact. Works closely with Government Relations and global Corporate Affairs on any government engagement and Scotiabank thought leadership opportunities. Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.





Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct. Champions a high-performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment; communicating vison/values/business strategy and managing succession and development planning for the team. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

The ability to clearly communicate with senior executives in the organization and external clients is paramount; Good business and government acumen. Solid writing and verbal skills. You will be asked to draft documents, edit others, and communicate with a variety of internal and outside stakeholders.

Strong logistics and planning capabilities. The role enables senior leaders to perform at the highest possible level.
