Context

As part of the development of our activities in the energy sector, we are looking for a Field Package Manager to ensure the operational management of the works of a technical discipline on site.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will guarantee the proper execution of your package in compliance with safety, quality, cost and schedule requirements. You will coordinate execution teams and subcontracting companies while ensuring the management of interfaces with other disciplines.

Main Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise the works of the relevant discipline on a daily basis in the field.
- Coordinate execution teams and subcontracting companies.
- Monitor and validate the physical progress of the works in accordance with the execution schedule.
- Ensure the technical interface between engineering, procurement and construction activities.
- Ensure rigorous application of health, safety and environmental (HSE) requirements.
- Monitor the compliance of the works with applicable drawings, technical specifications and quality requirements.
- Participate in monitoring quality assurance plans, controls and inspections.
- Identify technical constraints, interferences and blocking points between the different trades.




- Coordinate the resolution of field contingencies in order to limit their impacts on progress.
- Participate in site meetings and provide regular reporting on activities.
- Prepare and maintain daily and weekly site monitoring logs.

Technical Skills

- Confirmed expertise in at least one of the following disciplines: Civil Engineering / Structure / CSA, Mechanical / Plumbing or Electrical.
- Excellent ability to read and interpret complex drawings and technical documents.
- Proficiency, depending on the discipline, in P&IDs;, single-line diagrams, execution drawings or formwork and reinforcement drawings.
- Good knowledge of site execution methods and constraints.
- Proficiency in the principles of monitoring physical progress of works.
- Valuable understanding of interfaces between engineering, procurement and construction.
- Solid knowledge of HSE requirements and quality standards applicable to the works.

Candidate Profile

- Education: 2/3-year higher education degree (BTS, DUT or equivalent) to 5-year higher education degree (engineering degree), depending on professional experience.
- Experience: minimum 5 to 8 years in site monitoring, work supervision or responsibility for a technical field package.
- Experience acquired on engineering, construction or complex industrial facility projects.
- Confirmed experience in coordinating field teams and subcontracting companies.
- Strong safety and quality culture on site.
- Fluent French and technical English.
