Duties

- Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Assist with basic food and meal preparation tasks under the supervision of chefs or kitchen staff.
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas to ensure food safety compliance.
- Support food handling procedures by organizing ingredients and supplies for meal service.
- Help with waste disposal and recycling to keep the kitchen environment sanitary.
- Collaborate with team members during busy service times to ensure smooth operations.




- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation practices.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and meal preparation is a plus.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen operations.
- Basic understanding of restaurant operations, including serving and food industry practices, is advantageous.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and kitchen safety.
