Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our busy restaurant team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment, supporting the culinary staff in meal preparation and food safety. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and an interest in the food service industry.

Responsibilities

- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and efficiently to ensure cleanliness and availability for food preparation.
- Assist with basic meal preparation and food handling tasks as directed by kitchen staff.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal.
- Support food safety protocols by following proper sanitation procedures and handling food items safely.
- Restock supplies such as utensils, dishware, and cleaning materials to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Help with organizing storage areas and rotating stock to maintain freshness and orderliness.




- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours and uphold high standards of cleanliness.

Skills

- Basic understanding of cooking, food preparation, and food handling practices.
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
