Responsibilities

- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or manual methods
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and handling ingredients safely
- Support the kitchen staff by ensuring all necessary tools and equipment are available and properly cleaned for food service
- Follow health and safety regulations related to food handling, sanitation standards, and proper waste disposal
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely clearing of tables and proper setup for upcoming service periods




- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing

Qualifications

- Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Strong understanding of cleaning procedures, food handling safety standards, and sanitation practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking processes is a plus
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues in a fast-paced setting
- Experience in hotel or food service industries can be advantageous but is not mandatory
