Responsibilities

- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using proper cleaning techniques
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting chefs and kitchen staff during busy service times
- Follow food handling safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene standards are met
- Organize and store clean items in designated areas for easy access by the kitchen team
- Support the overall cleanliness of the kitchen environment by disposing of waste properly and maintaining sanitary conditions




- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes during service hours

Requirements

- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures, food handling, and sanitation standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy trays or containers
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all dishes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
- Good teamwork skills with a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting
- Previous experience with kitchen or hotel operations is a plus but not required; training will be provided!
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and professionalism at all times
