Reporting to the Executive Chef of Red Shores Charlottetown, the successful candidate will be responsible to maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and assist fellow employees as required.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
• Cleans and stores dishes, glassware and silverware used by food and beverage and ensures that work area is clean and organized at all times.
- Clean dishes according to Standards.
- Cleans and organizes equipment and work area.
- Control usage of store supplies.
- Notify Supervisor of damage to or problems with equipment.
- Control the use of dishwashing equipment, feed detergents and checks temperature controls.
- Protected and effective use of equipment.
- Adhere to and comply with all safety regulations when handling hazardous materials according to MSDS.
What you'll need
Qualifications
- Requires high school diploma or comparable combination of equivalent working experience and education.
- Experience in a related field of one or more years in a fast-paced work environment is considered an asset.
- Must be able to work Shift work as our business is ever changing.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
