Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Dispatch Executive to coordinate transportation operations efficiently and ensure seamless logistics flow. In this vital role, you will manage dispatch activities, communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and warehouse teams, and utilize advanced transportation management systems to optimize freight movement. Your energetic approach will help maintain high levels of accuracy, timeliness, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced supply chain environment.

Duties

- Oversee daily dispatch operations using transportation management systems (TMS) to assign shipments accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and internal teams to schedule pickups and deliveries while adhering to deadlines
- Communicate clearly with drivers ensuring they receive timely instructions and updates
- Monitor shipping and receiving processes, ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Analyze freight data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
- Prepare detailed reports on dispatch activities, shipment statuses, and analysis findings for management review

Experience





- Proven experience in transportation management or logistics coordination, preferably within a supply chain or freight environment
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy in typing and record keeping
- Excellent communication skills with skilled phone etiquette across multi-line phone systems
- Demonstrated analysis skills to evaluate shipping data, freight costs, and operational efficiency
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures along with freight regulations and safety standards
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
