Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic, organized Dispatch Coordinator to join our agile logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinates daily freight movements, oversees drivers, and optimizes vehicle performance. This role bridges logistics execution, regulatory compliance, and asset management to ensure safe, profitable, and on-time deliveries

Key Responsibilities

- Dispatch and Routing: Assign loads to drivers, map efficient routes, minimize empty miles, and manage real-time transit adjustments.

- Driver Management: Supervise driver schedules, monitor daily performance, and support driver retention and communication.

- Compliance and Safety: Track Hours-of-Service (HOS) logs, ensure adherence to national safety codes, and manage incident reports.

- Maintenance Oversight: Schedule preventative truck maintenance and coordinate emergency field repairs to reduce downtime.

- Cost Control: Track fuel consumption, control operational budgets, and review carrier or asset profitability

Qualifications and Skills





- Experience: 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in trucking dispatch, logistics, or transportation operations.

- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge and understanding of TMS dispatch software, GPS telematics, and electronic logging device (ELD) systems.

- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding and familiarity with regional Department of Transportation (DOT) or National Safety Code (NSC) rules and safety protocols.

- Communication: Clear, decisive communication style to handle driver issues and client inquiries under pressure.

- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot route delays, equipment breakdowns, and capacity bottlenecks in real time

Pay: $21.00-$33.65 per hour
