RESPONSIBILITIES Truck routing by geography, scope of work, volumes, etc.

Print batch orders for primary customers

Create manifests for trips, create orders (BOL) in TruckMate, print all paperwork BOLs, checklists and job orders as required.

Check orders for status issues completion, docked, not assigned and Arrcon/Depcon

Use end of day reports from Metro Service group and Clients to confirm next day orders

Update/Audit Driver/Helper Expenses in Chrome River and Element Fuel

Check end of day paperwork for completeness, sort, synergize, store a copy of the trip on S-Drive and file

Sort and file hard copy fuel logs, time sheets

Manage the day off rotation of the Driver/Helper teams

Generate paperwork for the warehouse team to stage runs

Work with Customer Service to cover same day requests, and confirm availability to cover all requests

Monitor Routes in Real Time using GPS to ensure crews are on track and no business at risk





Assist with Precall to customers on driver arrival times

Accessibility via company provided cell phone if crews are still on the road after hours

Other duties as required QUALIFICATIONS Flexibility to work beyond end of day to support vacation coverage and volume demands

Robust MS Office and experience using TruckMate an asset

Experience in Transportation Management would be an asset

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and able to work well under pressure

Strong analytical, problem solving and multitasking skills with the ability to consider everyone and engage those who can add value to the process

Solid oral and written communication skills

Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment Hours: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
