Medevac Dispatcher / Flight Follower - Air Ambulance Operations

SkyNorth Air is accepting resumes for the position of Dispatcher - Medevac Operations. Please see the key responsibilities, and skills / qualifications required for the position listed below:

- Monitor all aircraft to ensure safe departure and arrivals as per Type D Flight Following system
- Schedule crews for flights and respond to all crew enquiries with regards to their duties
- Accept in-bound calls from a central coordination center (MTCC) in regards to availability and dispatch of aircraft and crews
- Work closely with MTCC to determine their trip needs and ensure correct information is passed on to AMS staff in a timely manner
- Support Pilot and AMS staff with regards to trip details and station stop requirements (Fuel Orders, Transportation needs)
- Generate the trip sheets for the crew and provide relevant documentation for flights
- Organize hotel accommodation for crews at destination if required
- Assist with the interpretation of all flight documents and information for the Accounting and Maintenance Depts.
- General office administration duties
- Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:





- Ability to work in a 24/7 operating workplace (including overnights)
- Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with a diverse group of people
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work for maximum efficiency
- Ability to demonstrate a professional approach and work well under pressure
- Self-starter and ability to act independently under minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal and quality service skills
- Proficiency in common computer applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe
- Previous experience in Aviation Customer Service, or Aviation Operations desired

Education: Secondary School Diploma or sufficient experience Compensation: As per company scale, with standard company benefits.
