Responsibilities What your days look like as a Docker:

- Load and unload containers, materials, and general cargo from vessels;
- Secure cargo on board vessels and assist with opening and closing vessel hatches;
- Assist with vessel mooring and unmooring activities;
- Operate mobile equipment when trained and authorized, including handling trucks and tractors;
- Clean vessel holds and work areas, and support general terminal activities as required;
- Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain secure distances around heavy equipment and suspended loads;
- Work collaboratively with equipment operators, crane operators, supervisors, and other members of the terminal team.

Qualifications To succeed as a Docker, you must have:

- A strong commitment to health and safety;




- The ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, walking, climbing, bending, and handling loads;
- The ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions and around heavy equipment;
- Flexibility to work on call, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and extended shifts based on operational needs;
- The ability to follow instructions, communicate clearly, and work effectively as part of a team;
- Reliable transportation to and from the Corner Brook terminal;
- Previous experience in marine operations, cargo handling, construction, warehousing, or heavy industry is considered an asset.
