Duties

- Deliver engaging classroom instruction on dog grooming techniques, safety procedures, and hygiene standards
- Demonstrate grooming procedures including bathing, trimming, styling, and finishing touches to students
- Provide constructive feedback and personalized coaching to help students improve their skills
- Supervise practical grooming sessions,



ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
- Assess student progress through practical tests and ongoing performance reviews
- Maintain a positive learning environment that encourages questions, creativity, and skilled growth

Skills

- Minimum 5 years experience in professional dog grooming
- Ability to teach grooming to students with a variety of starting abilities and knowledge
- Strong knowledge of dog grooming tools, techniques, breed standards, and safety practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and patiently
- Passion for animal welfare combined with a talent for instructing diverse learners
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in grooming trends and teaching methodologies
- Solid multitasking skills

Pay: $28.00 per hour
