As a Shift Runner, you’ll be the key driver behind efficient restaurant functioning, inspiring your team to deliver fast, friendly service in a lively environment.

Responsibilities

- Supervise daily restaurant operations during your shift, ensuring all team members deliver top-notch service and food quality.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain consistency, safety, and efficiency in line with company standards.
- Manage cash handling and POS transactions using Micros POS systems accurately and securely.
- Lead team management activities including interviewing potential new hires, training staff on food safety protocols, and motivating team members to perform at their best.
- Ensure adherence to food handling and hygiene standards, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment at all times.
- Coordinate with the restaurant management team to meet operational goals, handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly,



and resolve any issues that arise during your shift.
- Support hospitality initiatives by creating a welcoming atmosphere for both customers and staff, fostering teamwork and positive energy.

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant management with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and hospitality.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in fast-paced environments such as restaurants or hotels.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS for efficient cash handling and order processing.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse situations professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and kitchen operations.
- Strong team management abilities including interviewing, training, motivating staff, and managing shifts effectively.
- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality roles such as serving or barista work is highly advantageous.
