The Position The DoubleTree by Hilton Victoria Valet provides a personal vehicle parking and retrieval service for the hotel guests. This role is responsible for making the guests’ experience memorable by providing services to guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner. The Valet is responsible for parking and retrieving guests vehicles in a prompt yet safe manner and assisting guests with luggage, including delivery and pick up of guest luggage (where applicable) during arrival and departure.

The Job

- Arranges for prompt parking and retrieving of vehicles of arriving and departing guests in a safe and friendly manner.
- Opens vehicle doors and assist guests in stepping out of their vehicles and helps guests with luggage or parcels.
- Observes assigned areas for any safety hazards or unauthorized tampering with or pilferage to parked vehicles or hotel facilities, and reports immediately all security issues to on duty manager.
- Provide a warm, friendly, and professional environment for our guests and team
- Provide concierge service for guests
- Assist with luggage, storage, package delivery




- Proper observance of security checklists
- Guest room deliveries as requested
- Perform accurate check-ins and checkouts of guests daily
- Answer the telephone in a timely and qualified manner
- Run daily reports to check reservations for accuracy and identify any special requests

Job Requirements

- Previous Concierge, Valet or hospitality experience an asset
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License is required
- Clear ICBC driving abstract is required
- Must be able to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 25lbs
- Must be able to work and drive in all weather conditions
- Must be flexible to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Sincere commitment to customer service and genuine appreciation for the guest experience

Wage: $ 20.01 per hour Reports to: Front Desk Manager or designate
