Suspended Stages (SSI) is growing our team.

With more than 40 years of experience in the suspended access and construction industry, SSI provides specialized equipment and access solutions for construction projects throughout the GTA and beyond.

With a strong and continuing workload, we are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our Engineering Department as a Draftsperson / CAD Technician.

No Experience? We’re Willing to Train.

Previous drafting or CAD experience is an asset, but it is not required.

We are willing to teach, train and mentor the right candidate who demonstrates strong computer skills, attention to detail, technical aptitude and a genuine interest in learning.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate, someone with introductory CAD knowledge, or a technically minded individual looking to build a career in drafting and engineering support.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will learn to prepare and revise technical drawings used for fabrication, installation and construction projects.

As your knowledge and experience grow, you will take on increasing responsibility within the Engineering Department.

- A positive attitude and genuine willingness to learn

CAD or drafting experience is an asset but not required. Education or exposure to drafting, CAD, engineering technology, construction, manufacturing or mechanical systems would also be considered an asset.
