Job Overview

- Position: Class 1 Dump Truck & Pony Driver

- Wage: $28–$32/hour, depending on experience

- Experience: Minimum 1 years Class 1 driving experience

- Work: Dump truck and pony trailer hauling

- Location: Lower Mainland / Surrey–Langley area

- Clean driving record and reliable attendance

- Experience with construction/aggregate hauling preferred

Duties

- Safely operate dump trucks to transport materials to designated sites, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking fluid levels, brakes, tires, and other critical components

- Load and unload freight efficiently while ensuring proper securing of loads to prevent spillage or accidents during transit

- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance records

- Communicate effectively with site managers and team members to coordinate schedules and delivery priorities

- Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep trucks in optimal condition





- Assist with forklift operations when necessary for loading or unloading materials

Qualifications

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record

- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as dump trucks and forklifts

- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols in industrial settings

- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshooting skills

- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and environmental standards

- Physical stamina to handle long hours of driving and manual labor tasks

- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
