We are seeking a motivated and dependable DZ Local Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting freight within local routes, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties

- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks equipped with power liftgates to transport freight across designated local routes.
- Load and unload freight using manual methods, ensuring proper handling and secure placement of cargo.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues, performing basic automotive repairs when necessary.
- Verify shipment documentation, ensure accurate delivery records, and communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status.
- Maintain compliance with all safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies during daily operations.
- Assist with securing loads, inspecting freight for damage or discrepancies, and reporting any issues promptly.

Requirements





- Valid DZ driver’s license with a clean driving record and proven experience in commercial driving
- Experience handling freight logistics, including loading/unloading procedures
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics to perform routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and maneuvering in tight spaces
- Solid communication skills for coordinating with team members and dispatchers
- Commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance at all times
