Duties
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that stimulate curiosity, creativity, and learning among young children
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that encourages positive social interactions
- Support children’s emotional well-being through caregiving, active listening, and guidance
- Observe and document individual progress, sharing insights with families and team members to support each child's growth
- Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and outdoor play to ensure comfort and safety
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of children with disabilities or special requirements
Requirements
- Experience working with children in educational or caregiving settings
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Strong classroom management skills with an emphasis on positive reinforcement
- Ability to provide compassionate caregiving while maintaining safety protocols
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, families, and team members
- Relevant certifications or training in early childhood education or caregiving are preferred
