St. Francis of Assisi Academy invites applications for the following position:

St. Francis of Assisi Academy in Slave Lake, Alberta, part of Living Waters Catholic Separate School Division, is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Educational Assistant to join our school team .

This position involves working closely with students within the classroom setting as well as providing support in small group environments . The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering universal and targeted supports, fostering student success, and reinforcing social and personal skills in an inclusive environment .

Wages and benefits will be in accordance with the Living Waters Collective Agreement with AUPE and will vary depending on qualifications and experience .

- Criminal Record Check: Must provide a clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check .
- Inclusive Experience:



Experience working with students in an inclusive educational setting is beneficial .
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building skills, transparent communication, and an approachable, patient demeanor .
- Work Ethic: Highly independent, self-motivated, flexible, and calm under pressure .
- Formal Education: Formal training or post-secondary education related to education or child development is considered an asset, but is not required .
