We are seeking a temporary (with full time potential) dynamic and detail-oriented Electric Motor Technician to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electric motors used across various industries. Responsibilities

- Reports to the General Manager
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues in electric motors, gearboxes and pumps
- Repair or replace faulty components such as windings, bearings, brushes, and wiring to restore motor functionality.
- Perform routine maintenance on electric motors to prevent future failures, including cleaning, lubrication, and alignment.




- Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during repair and installation processes.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to guide repairs accurately.
- Conduct heavy lifting as needed to move large motors or parts safely while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

- Proven experience working with electric motors, gearboxes and pumps.
- Solid mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Knowledge of schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings essential for accurate diagnostics.
- Ability to lift heavy components safely and work in physically demanding environments.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional approach to client interactions.
- Lathe experience would be considered an asset
- Electric motor technician ticket would be considered an asset

Pay: $35.00-$38.00 per hour
