Finning Canada is seeking Dual Ticket Heavy Duty Mechanics/Electricians for their Fort McMurray Townshop location. This role involves troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing Caterpillar equipment in both shop and field environments, with a focus on gas compression, heavy electrical, and power generation systems. Industry leading wage: $70.19 - $77.99 per hour

Continuous shift premium: $3.50/hr

Field premium: $2.25/hr

Continuous shift: 14x14; extra scheduled weeks off per year

What You’ll Need

Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic certification

Journeyperson Electrician certification

Experience as an Electrical or HET Journeyman in the field

Previous Power Systems and Commissioning experience required

Valid class 5 driver’s license with a successful recent drivers abstract

Ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing) and wear a respirator where applicable

Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organization, and communication skills

Commitment to safety

Union membership required; union dues will be deducted
