Applications are invited for the permanent vacancy position of Half-time Prep (Days 2, 4, Alt. 5) at Blanche E Williams PS (Brantford, ON)
EFFECTIVE DATE: September 1, 2026
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ontario College of Teachers’ Certificate of Qualification and qualified to teach in a minimum of two of the following divisions: Primary, Junior or Intermediate, in accordance with Ministry of Education Regulations.

Current qualified Grand Erie elementary occasional teachers and external qualified applicants to the Board, may apply. The only way that applications will be accepted is through Apply to Education (ATE).
All applications are to include a complete resume of experience, qualifications, a copy of your current Certificate of Qualification from the Ontario College of Teachers, practice teaching reports or the most recent performance review(s), and the names of three (3) professional references, (as least one of whom must be a current supervisor/principal, if applicable).
RATE OF PAY: $57,511 - $120,023 annually (based on 1.0 FTE); salary grid rate is based on QECO rating and teaching experience; annual salary is prorated based on FTE; grid rate effective September 1, 2025. A competitive perks plan is available through a provincial benefits trust plan.
All applications will be subject to a screening process and some applicants may not be granted an interview.

All employees are required to provide an original Police Record Check (which includes a “vulnerable sector search”) acceptable to the Board prior to the commencement of employment. In accordance with regulations, this will be an ongoing expectation of employment for Grand Erie employees every five years of employment.
