We are currently recruiting a Engineer/Engineer-In-Training for either our Saskatoon or Leduc branch. This is a significant opportunity for the right person. If you like to work smart and have a passion for making a difference, we would like to hear from you.
Position Responsibilities
Design & Development
- Design hydraulic solutions tailored to customer project requirements.
- Translate system requirements into appropriate component selections.
- Design structural frames and validate using Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Develop industrial and mobile electro-hydraulic control systems.
- Design custom cartridge valve manifold assemblies.
- Verify and maintain specifications for stackable valve assemblies.
- Create hydraulic schematics and general assembly drawings.
- Develop component and system testing procedures.
Analysis & Troubleshooting
- Perform fluid analyses and recommend corrective actions.
- Troubleshoot system failures and underperformance issues.
Technical Support & Collaboration
- Provide engineered solutions and support when requested by inside and outside sales teams.
- Support engineering and technical teams across branches.
- Manage project design and product selection and hand off for quotation by sales teams.
- Conduct fieldwork as needed to ensure customer satisfaction and promote business.
- Present technical concepts clearly and build customer loyalty.
- Be available as needed after hours to support urgent technical requests
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited University is an asset
- CET, RET or Mechanical Technologist diplomas or similar accreditations are an asset
- Registration as an EIT in BC, AB, SK or another province in Canada is an asset
- Knowledge of hydraulics, mining, forestry, pulp/paper, agricultural and oil/gas industries is an asset
- Working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor, Nastran FEA and AutoCAD or similar CAD programs
- Electrohydraulic controls experience is an asset.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Valid drivers’ license
