We are seeking a passionate and dynamic English & Math Teacher to inspire and educate students across diverse language backgrounds. Responsibilities

- Design and deliver engaging lessons in English and Math to students ages 6–14 in small groups.

- Prepare students for classwork, homework, and skill development

- Assess student progress regularly through quizzes, assignments, and interactive activities

- Provide personalized tutoring support to address individual learning needs

- Maintain a positive, encouraging, and structured classroom environment.

- Encourage and motivate students to reach their full potential





Requirements

- Proven experience working with children in classroom or tutoring settings

- Strong writing skills in English with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly

- Demonstrated ability to develop creative lesson plans and adapt teaching strategies for diverse learners

- Excellent communication skills in English

- Prior classroom experience or tutoring experience in Math and English preferred

- This is an in person position at our center at 145 Inspire Boulevard, Brampton and availabiliy to work some weekday evenings from 4-8 pm and / or Saturday mornings required.

- OCT CERTIFIED or candidates in the process of getting OCT certification preferred.

Pay: $17.60-$18.50 per hour
