Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to join a contract opportunity focused on shaping and advancing the organization's long-term technology strategy. This role will play a key part in defining enterprise architecture standards, cloud adoption strategies, technology roadmaps, and modernization initiatives across a complex enterprise environment. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with business and technology leaders to ensure solutions align with architectural principles, governance frameworks, and future-state technology objectives.

Responsibilities:

- Define, maintain, and evolve enterprise technology architecture across cloud, infrastructure, platforms, integration, and core technology domains.
- Develop and maintain architecture principles, standards, reference architectures, design patterns, and technology roadmaps.
- Provide architectural oversight and governance for technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and strategic objectives.
- Lead and participate in architecture review boards, governance forums, and technology planning discussions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations based on business value, feasibility, scalability, and architectural fit.
- Guide cloud strategy and adoption initiatives, including cloud platforms, hybrid environments, landing zones, and enterprise cloud patterns.
- Partner with business, security, data, engineering, infrastructure, and application teams to support well-architected technology solutions.




- Assess solution architectures and provide recommendations to ensure compliance with enterprise standards and long-term technology direction.
- Support strategic planning, investment decisions, and major transformation initiatives by identifying architectural risks, impacts, and opportunities.
- Mentor architects and technical teams while promoting architecture best practices across the organization.

Requirements:

- 8+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, or senior technical leadership roles.
- Demonstrated experience working across both Enterprise Architecture and Solution Architecture functions.
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, including Azure and AWS.
- Experience developing architecture standards, governance frameworks, technology principles, and enterprise roadmaps.
- Solid understanding of cloud architecture, modern infrastructure, integration patterns, and enterprise technology ecosystems.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders, including senior leadership teams.
- Experience evaluating technology solutions and providing strategic architectural guidance for large-scale initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Experience working within large, complex enterprise environments.
- TOGAF or other architecture certifications are considered an asset.
