Job Overview The Environmental Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and guests. This position involves performing cleaning and sanitation tasks. Making sure that all rooms are cleaned and disinfected properly, in addition to cleaning public areas and offices. To ensure that all areas meet the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in a nursing home setting.

Duties

- Perform routine cleaning of residents rooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly maintained.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing surfaces to prevent the spread of infection.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or maintenance issues.




- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality cleanliness.
- Uphold safety standards by using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
- Engage with residents and guests in a courteous manner.

Requirements

- Previous experience in a senior care facility is considered an asset.
- The ability to communicate effectively with team members.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual Pay: From $23.72 per hour
