Epoxy Flooring Installer / Multi-Trade Technician

Mill Creek is looking for an experienced Epoxy Flooring Installer to join our team in Grande Prairie.

About the Position

We are expanding our epoxy flooring services in Grande Prairie and are looking for an experienced installer to help lead this type of work.

This role will include epoxy flooring projects as they are scheduled, along with other construction and renovation work such as painting, drywall, carpentry, and general property improvements.

We are looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in high-quality finishes, and is comfortable working across multiple trades.

As our epoxy flooring business continues to grow, there is an opportunity for this position to take on more responsibility and become a key part of that division.

This is a good chance for someone who has strong epoxy flooring experience but is also comfortable working in other trades when epoxy projects are not scheduled.

What You'll Be Doing

- Preparing concrete floors for epoxy and coating systems
- Grinding, cleaning, repairing, and profiling concrete
- Filling cracks, pits, and imperfections
- Mixing and applying epoxy coatings
- Installing flake, solid-colour, and other flooring systems
- Applying topcoats and protective finishes
- Maintaining clean and organized job sites
- Troubleshooting coating and adhesion issues
- Helping with painting, drywall, carpentry, and general renovation work between epoxy projects
- Working independently or as part of a crew depending on the project

We're Looking for Someone Who
- Has previous hands-on experience installing epoxy flooring
- Understands proper concrete preparation and moisture considerations




- Can use grinders, vacuums, mixers, rollers, squeegees, and related equipment
- Takes pride in producing clean, professional finishes
- Is reliable and able to show up consistently
- Is comfortable working in different areas of construction
- Can work independently without constant supervision
- Has a valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Is willing to learn and take on different types of work as required

Experience with painting, drywall, carpentry, concrete repair, or other finishing trades is considered an asset.

About the Position

We want to be upfront: we have significant epoxy work booked immediately, but we do not currently have enough epoxy projects to guarantee that you will install epoxy every day of the year.

Our goal is to continue growing this part of the business. When epoxy projects are available, you would be one of our primary installers. Between those projects, we have steady work available in painting, drywall, carpentry, renovations, and other areas of our business.

For the right person, this could develop into a larger role as our epoxy flooring division grows.

Compensation

Competitive hourly wage based on epoxy flooring experience, construction experience, and ability to work independently.
